Engine Control Unit (ECU)

DIACO ECU Control Unit

DIACO ECUs are designed as embedded real-time controllers for critical vehicle subsystems. Hardware architecture is based on automotive-grade microcontrollers with integrated CAN/LIN controllers, Flash and RAM memory, and advanced safety peripherals.

The software architecture typically consists of a bootloader layer, application software, and calibration data sets. Support for UDS-based diagnostics, fault memory, and communication monitoring enables seamless integration into OEM vehicle networks.

Instrument Cluster Module (ICM)

DIACO Instrument Cluster Module

The Instrument Cluster Module processes vehicle data received via CAN bus and converts it into driver-readable information. Functions include stepper motor control, warning lamp management, and graphical display handling.

Designed for deterministic update cycles and EMC robustness, the ICM ensures accurate visualization of speed, RPM, temperatures, and system status signals.

Body Control Module (BCM)

DIACO Body Control Module

The BCM acts as a central node for body and comfort electronics. It manages distributed loads, lighting systems, locking mechanisms, and wiper control through a combination of CAN backbone communication and LIN sub-networks.

Event-driven firmware logic and integrated diagnostics support fault detection, data logging, and network supervision.

Electric Power Steering Module (EPS)

DIACO Electric Power Steering Module

The EPS module calculates steering assistance based on torque and angle sensor inputs. Control algorithms dynamically adapt assistance levels as a function of vehicle speed and driving conditions.

High-speed CAN communication and closed-loop motor control ensure precise and stable steering behavior in compliance with automotive safety expectations.

Other Electronic Modules

DIACO Electric Camera

Additional products include Rear Camera, gateway ECUs, custom sensor controllers, and application-specific CAN/LIN nodes developed according to OEM technical specifications.
